The gas gate valve is no exception. If it does not follow the normal process during operation, it is easy to cause some failures. 1. Overpressure operation. The design pressure of the hand oil pump is 4.0 MPa, the pressure required to open the valve is 3.5 to 4.0 MPa, and the pressure is as high as 7.0 to 8.0 MPa in many cases. Every year, about 30 vehicles have oil pumps damaged due to overpressure to be repaired, and 20% of them cannot be repaired and should be replaced.

2. The valve opening procedure is wrong. It violates the principle that opening the gas gate valve must be done with the ball valve closed. The error of opening the ball valve first and then opening the gas gate valve often occurs, which cannot balance the upper and lower pressures of the overflow valve. Due to the pressure difference, the small spring cannot push the valve open. Trying to increase the pressure of the oil pump not only fails to open the valve, but also damages the oil pump. This is caused by the low quality of the personnel and their ignorance of their working principles.

3. The cylinder piston is rusty. It usually occurs when the hand-cranked oil pump leaks. After the operator pressurizes and opens the gas gate valve, the front stop valve of the oil cylinder is closed in order to maintain the pressure. After loading and unloading, forget to open the shut-off valve, just open the oil unloading handle of the oil pump, the pressure gauge returns to zero and mistakenly think that the gate valve is closed, and the actual gate valve is still open. Because the piston rod of the oil cylinder extends out and is exposed under the chassis of the tanker, the piston rods of these domestic vehicles are not electroplated. In rainy days, moist water vapor and sediment will quickly erode the piston rod and make it rust, especially if it is in this state for a long time, it is easier to rust the piston rod and make the gas gate valve unable to be closed and in a normally open state. There are about 10 vehicles in this situation every year, which is extremely dangerous.

4. When the wire rope is broken or the oil pump fails, the user will use a hard object to hold the cam against the cam, and the gas gate valve will remain open for a long time.
